THE KOBIDO TREATMENTS, BY DELPHINE EHRART, FACIALIST

Traditional Japanese Massage

Traditional Japanese Massage

Kobido treatments are based on an ancestral Japanese massage technique, known for its lifting and plumping effect. Dr. Shogo Mochizuki, Twenty-Sixth Generation Master of House Kobido, explains: “Kobido is not the translation of 'Japanese massage' but means 'ancient way of beauty'. In reality, Japanese massage does not have a name, and there are many ways to practice it. The techniques of Maison Kobido are simply the oldest and most famous. "

This manual know-how, accompanied by accupressions, acts on microcirculation, superficial tissues, muscles and reactivates collagen. As a result, a lifted, refreshed skin regains radiance and a smooth and silky texture. The massages are done with balms or with essential oils mixed with vegetable oils.

Depending on the type of skin, I propose for my massages one of Cosmydor’s three balms. I love their common key ingredient, shea butter, present in each balm and excellent for regenerating our skin.

To prepare the skin, I cleanse it of its impurities, then I apply hot towels so that the active products take effect for optimal well-being and comfort. I work and heat the skin on the surface, then the pace quickens. Touching, pinching, draining, everything comes together, it is like gymnastics, so that the deep muscles are stimulated. Balms bring richness to this living material that is our skin, for an immediate result. The treatment lasts about 50 minutes, to finish with a 10-minute accupression. Once the treatment is finished, I do a little cleansing of the skin with the cardamom facial cleanser or the Ylang-Ylang facial cleanser, and proceed to deep hydration with one the brand’s face creams chosen according to the skin type.

The work in symbiosis between the facialist and Cosmydor treatments brings well-being and comfort for a naturally beautiful woman.
